Probably the largest fitness centre in the world is nature. And in Tyrol, it's right on the doorstep: mighty peaks, fresh mountain air and countless opportunities to work out in the fresh air. But if you don't want to miss out on indoor training, the Zugspitz Resort is the ideal place to get your body and mind going. Our 100 m² fitness studio on the 2nd basement floor of the MODERNE building offers everything you need for a successful workout - from cardio and strength training to functional exercises. There is also a 35 m² yoga lounge and an equally large classroom for individual exercise sessions or guided training sessions. Whether stretching, relaxing or energising - here you decide what is good for you.

For inner strength and balance while on holiday

To stay fit and healthy, it is not always necessary to choose a strenuous workout.  In fact, opting for gentle exercise may be better for the body than constantly pushing yourself to the limit. Being mindful of your body and your movements and focusing on the deep muscle of the body during training – that's what gentle exercise is all about. At the Zugspitz Resort, we have compiled a gentle exercise programme that restores your inner strength and balance.  We offer the following courses:

Movement and mindfulness for body and mind:

  • Yoga in its many forms - Hatha Yoga for balance and stability, Yin Yoga for deep relaxation and regeneration, and Vinyasa Yoga for flowing sequences of movement and new energy.
  • Pilates, a holistic body workout to strengthen the deep muscles, improve posture and promote flexibility.
  • Qi Gong, a millennia-old Chinese art of meditation and movement that combines breathing, concentration and gentle movements to create inner balance and vitality.
