Restaurant and sun terrace
The Tirolerhaus is a popular destination for all ages in both winter and summer alike. As well as a restaurant and a café-lounge, there is also a wonderful sun terrace that is an inviting spot to relax during a day’s activity. Families will appreciate the children’s playroom, and in winter there are friendly carers here for the little ones.
Modern restaurant
In winter you can step out from the mountain station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn onto the first piste of your day’s skiing, and in summer it is the starting point for numerous hiking routes. The Tirolerhaus is located centrally in the alpine region, has a modern ambience and offers culinary sustenance, so you can try delicious titbits from the Tyrolean and Austrian cuisine before setting off for new adventures. The Tirolerhaus has a pleasant restaurant with table service, and in winter a self-service restaurant. A spacious terrace invites you to relax on a lounger or enjoy a drink in the sun. In summer children will find an entertaining way of passing the time with the play facilities directly next to the terrace.
Creche and children’s playroom
During the ski season, the Tirolerhaus offers parents the option of leaving their little ones in the care of the creche, and children can also stay here on an hourly basis. An imaginatively designed playroom with a knight’s castle, witch’s house, TV corner and climbing wall awaits children from 0 years onwards. So your children will be in the best of hands while you take to the pistes of the Ehrwalder Alm.
In summer the playroom is accessible free of charge to children and parents, but with no childcare staff present.
Night tobogganing
Twice a week you will find tobogganing fun during the night tobogganing on the downhill valley run of the Ehrwalder Alm. Toboggans can be hired at the valley station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn. A fondue evening at the Tirolerhaus is the ideal choice before you set off with your toboggan.
Après-ski and events at the Tirolerhaus
Always something happening
Every Saturday the Tirolerhaus is transformed into an après-ski location. Be there when DJ Benno plays the sounds and invites you to celebrate and dance with party music.
