In winter a wonderfully beautiful ski region awaits on the Zugspitzplatt on the summit of the Zugspitze. 9 modern lifts and 17 well-prepared kilometres of slopes make skiing on the Zugspitze a unique pleasure.
In summer too, the Zugspitze offers a terrific long-distance view across the Eastern Alps. You can also learn something of the myths and stories surrounding the Zugspitze on the free guided tours of the summit.
