Everything is beautifully decorated and every week another candle is lit on the Advent wreath. There is so much to discover on a winter holiday in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. The children love to play in the snow and with carrots, branches and a scarf, the first snowman is immediately brought to life. A snowball fight is also a must on a winter holiday.
Or how about a snowshoe hike through the snow-covered landscape? Trudging through the deep snow will bring back memories of childhood for many an adult. Winter is also the time for skiing down the slopes, exploring nature on a llama hike or enjoying the view of the Zugspitze from the sun terrace with a warming cup of tea or cocoa.

Besondere Erlebnisse in der Weihnachtszeit
In the run-up to Christmas, there are also plenty of events in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena that you shouldn't miss. One of them is the magical "Lumagica" lights park from November 2022 to February 2023 at the Ehrenburg Castle World near Reutte. The park of lights with illuminated figures, works of art and special effects enchants its visitors in the wintry nature around the Ehrenberg castle ruins.
Numerous Advent and Christmas markets in our region are also worth a visit. Enjoy traditional arts and crafts, many delicious Advent specialities and the contemplative atmosphere accompanied by Christmas music. The Außerferner Advent in Reutte or the Christkindlmarkt in Garmisch-Partenkirchen are only a few minutes' drive from the Zugspitz Resort.
