Discoveries while hiking with child and children
Hikes around our Zugspitz Resort are as varied as nature itself. Long tours, short tours, enjoyable hikes, hikes with playgrounds along the way, hikes with mountain railway rides, hikes around the lake or up to the first summit cross... Hiking awakens the spirit of adventure. Who will be the first to make it up the mountain, who will be quick to the next alpine hut, who will be able to bounce the stone on the water more often or who will be the next pine cone throwing champion?
And if your motivation isn't quite enough to tackle the next kilometre, you should always have a small supply of provisions in your rucksack. Or perhaps the desire for a Kaiserschmarrn at the nearby alpine pasture will help?
Either way, hiking with children is a special experience every time - there is a lot to discover, your fitness is trained and you can spend the whole day in the fresh mountain air.

Child-friendly excursion destinations in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena
If you want to do something with children on holiday, the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena is just the right place. Numerous excursion destinations ensure fun-filled moments together with the family. Starting with the many adventure trails. The water adventure trail "Zugspitzi am Gaisbach" offers fun, games and lots of interesting facts for the kids. On the circular hiking trail along the Gaisbach you can discover together the big and small wonders of flora and fauna in the Zugspitz area. Moosle's magic forest at the Grubigstein cable car is full of fairytales and enchants the kids with nine interactive play and adventure stations. The moor nature trail in Heiterwang am See offers even more nature experiences. Along the path, which is suitable for prams, there is once again much worth knowing about the flora and fauna.

Children's eyes light up at the animal and play park in Bichlbach. Goats, llamas, rabbits and other animals have their home there and are always happy about a visit and extra petting. The play area, the fairy tale world and the world's largest rocking horse offer lots of fun moments on top while playing and letting off steam.
For older children, the climbing forest in Bichlbach is a real highlight. The exciting course with 60 climbing elements provides lots of fun and adrenaline. And for the "view with a kick" for the whole family, you can take the Highline 179, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge.
Summer activities at the resort
For those who prefer to spend time at the our family hotel in the Tiroler Zugspitzarena, there are also plenty of opportunities to spend the day with lots of activities. Our childcare offers a varied weekly programme with a wide range of activities for children from 3 - 12 years. Children should not miss our adventure playground with swings, trampolines, slide and more. On warm summer days, our swimming pond beckons with a welcome refreshment and our large garden is ideal for relaxing together and simply enjoying the moment together.
Of course, if the weather doesn't play along, that's no problem either. In our water worlds, it's water march! 5 slides await you, one of which is the 120 m long competition slide for a slide race for two. A toddlers' pool, the large pirate ship, various water games and a baby pool with "Speedo" slide perfectly round off the great offer for the kids.
In addition to fun & games, delicious catering is of course provided throughout the day. Our restaurant and kitchen team will spoil you with regional delicacies, delicious refreshments and sweet temptations in the restaurant and, in sunny weather, also on the sun terrace with a view of the Zugspitze.
