Where childhood dreams come true
The year 2022 is drawing to a close - it's high time to fill the 2023 bucket list with special destinations. Whether it's the 1,500 m² play and water world including a competition slide, the 10,000 m² outdoor playground with trampoline and pedal cart track or exciting excursion destinations on the slopes of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, up Germany's highest mountain or to the world's longest TibetStyle bridge: the following five reasons leave no doubt that the Zugspitz Resort in Ehrwald must not be missing from the 2023 bucket list.
1. great adventures for little guests on 11,500 square metres
With a total of 1,500 m² of indoor play and water world and the 10,000 m² garden outside, we have earned a place on the 2023 bucket list. On two floors, the indoor adventure world delights with a bouldering wall, a go-kart track, a play & chill area, a cinema and a water world with three different pools, a pirate ship and five adventure slides. The extensive outdoor playground can score points with trampolines and a pedal cart track, among other things. Those who prefer to relax will find what they are looking for in the active and vitality world with an adults-only SPA, sauna area and relaxation rooms as well as a wide range of massage and beauty treatments, while children can let off steam in the crawling landscape and the supervised kindergarten in DIDI's children's club. The Family SPA with textile sauna, relaxation room and garden landscape provides a relaxing time-out with the whole family.
2. topping the best time on the 120-metre competition slide
In the spacious indoor water world, little guests will find a real highlight among the total of five water slides: the adventurous double competition slide Body²Racer. The two 120-metre-long tubes next to each other show who is ahead in the race, and the timing display at the finish line provides the final result. So get up on the slide and down the tube to beat the best time.
4. highline179: Discover the longest TibetStyle bridge in the world
Just a 30-minute drive from us is the highline179 - a pedestrian suspension bridge located in the middle of one of the most significant fortress ensembles in Central Europe and connecting the Ehrenberg castle ruins with Fort Claudia. Since 2014, the brave can venture across the 114-metre-high bridge, from where they are rewarded with a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding imposing mountain landscape. With its length of 406 metres, the highline179 was chosen by the Guinness Book of Records as the "Longest Tibet-style footbridge in the world".
