Get fit through spring with the Zugspitz Resort's activity programme
Spring is coming! And with it many great adventures in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.
On a discovery tour through the blossoming Tyrolean landscape
All year round, we offer a weekly changing activity programme for the whole family at the four-star superior Zugspitz Resort in Ehrwald in Tyrol. Whether indoors or outdoors, early or late: every week, sporty programme items await young and old, inviting them to explore the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena - ideal for a fit start to spring. After the last swings on the slopes, the first warming rays of sunshine take you on guided hikes through the blossoming landscape of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena or on a spiritual journey during the first attempts at children's yoga. The sunny days in spring are rounded off with time out in the 10,000 square metre garden, which beckons with a playground, trampoline and pedal go-kart track - always with Germany's highest mountain in view: the Zugspitze.
So much variety...
Thanks to the weekly changing activity programme in and around the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, our guests enjoy pure variety. Both adventurers and those seeking peace and quiet will get their money's worth. Those who would like to go on a journey of discovery into nature are well catered for with activities such as a leisurely walk into the Moos or the various hikes on the Ehrwalder Alm. The tour to the Tuftl Alm, for example, delights after a family-friendly ascent with an impressive viewing platform that offers an unobstructed view of the entire Lermooser valley basin as well as a panorama from the Wetterstein Mountains over the Mieminger chain to the Lechtal and Ammergau Alps, while the Ganghoferweg trail shines with rustic alpine pastures as well as impressive vantage points and follows in the footsteps of the well-known local poet Ludwig Ganghofer. Those who prefer to get on their bikes and explore the blossoming landscape on two wheels will find more than 100 routes and trails that wind through the Tyrolean mountains and can be ridden by bike, mountain bike and e-bike.
Excursion tips for adventurers
The brave can plunge into an adventure on a trip to the highline179: Here the suspension bridge awaits, awarded by the Guinness Book of Records as the "Longest Tibet-style footbridge in the world", which impresses with a length of 406 metres and a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding imposing mountain landscape. Exciting torch and lantern walks invite you to explore the surrounding nature by night and mystical firelight. For those seeking peace and quiet, there are programmes such as yoga and Pilates that guarantee relaxation and keep you fit at the same time. Children can try their first yoga exercises at the supervised children's yoga. Guests can catch exciting glimpses behind the scenes on the "Stadl-Bräu" brewery tour or the tour of the Zugspitze world of experience, which ranges from the cable car museum "BAHNORAMA anno 1926" at the valley station of the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn to the world of experience "Faszination Zugspitze" and the snow crystal world at the mountain station.
Fun-filled children's programme
In addition to the activity programme, the Zugspitz Resort offers a varied children's programme for younger guests between the ages of three and twelve. Whether it's a nature experience day, a cooking day or a sports day: every day has a different motto, which makes the stay at the adventure resort exciting every day. While creativity and imagination are given free rein in the mornings with handicrafts and baking activities, in the afternoons it's off into the countryside on a discovery tour, such as a scavenger hunt and treasure hunt. In the evening, a variety of cinema and game nights await the little guests. The cinema programme includes classics like The Lion King and Finding Nemo as well as favourites like Vaiana and Frozen
One highlight follows the next
In addition to the active and children's programme, numerous other highlights such as a 1,500sqm play and water world including a cinema, three adventure pools and five different slides as well as the 10,000sqm garden with a playground, trampoline and pedal cart track await little adventurers. After a long day in the blossoming nature and the adventure areas of the Zugspitz Resort, the Active and Vital World with Adults-only SPA, sauna area and relaxation rooms as well as a wide range of massage and beauty treatments ensures pure relaxation. Children can let off steam in the crawling landscape and the supervised kindergarten in DIDI's children's club or treat themselves to a relaxing time-out together with their parents in the Family SPA with textile sauna, relaxation room and garden landscape.
